Description

A figure's muscular torso and raised arms emerge from shadow and light, rendered in warm gold and silvery tones against a white ground. The composition uses gestural brushwork and tonal contrast to obscure the face and upper body, creating an intimate study of form that feels both classical and contemporary. Made to order from soft micro-twill and cut by hand, insert included. Real art for the spaces you actually use, not store-shelf filler.

My name is Cale, yes kinda like Kale. I'm an artist living in San Francisco. My work deals with portraying the tension between the hyper-masculine looking male with more playful, elegant, and even feminine styles. So while you may see an incredibly chiseled male body, pay attention to the subtleties in the way he is positioned, his hands, or where he is looking.
